Alisa of the wonderful Where’s my backpack has asked us to search our archives for pictures that embrace the word “pale”.  I usually lean toward bright and bold colors but there are days when softer hues capture my attention.

    I also go for more vivid color, but these are nice choices for “pale.” I like the “Oregon Coast.”

    Seems as though when people think of the “Pacific Northwest” they only think of the coast, butI think the Eastern part of Washington and Oregon are beautiful to, So I like the ‘Eastern Washington’ photos!

      Thanks, I’m glad you like that photo! I have spent a lot of time on the Eastern side of the state and plan to feature it soon in a series of posts. I agree the west side gets most of the press but there are some beautiful locations in the east as well!

    Lovely photos; I particularly like the first one. I’ve only been to Oregon once and my hosts took me to the beach on a really wild, wet day in October. Your photo really brought back memories in an unexpected way. Thanks.

        I agree; we’re approaching winter here and I’m looking forward how every day will be different. I guess I also like the fact that on the wild days you can have the whole beach to yourself.
