A Word A Week: Distant

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…

Star Wars

Distant

In 2011 the Pacific Science Center hosted an exhibit of original Star Wars props, costumes and fighter ships.  We took Ryan to see the show for his 10th birthday and I tried to get some clear shots of a few things through the Plexiglas surrounding each item.  I thought one of the super cool X-Wing Fighters would be a fun entry for this weeks challenge as it was always seen from a distance in the films…

Stood in a very, very long line for the 1977 opening of Star Wars at the theatre in Salt Lake City! All the new sound systems, etc., it was amazing. You inspired me to go ahead and post my distant pics!

How fun! I saw the 1977 Star Wars movie in Seattle but didn’t brave the opening lines – we waited a few days. 🙂 Love your distant post!

It is fun to watch how excited they get about Star Wars after all of these years! The exhibit was great. 🙂
