I recently realized that even though both my About page and widget mention we love to cook, I haven’t posted a single recipe or even a photo of something from our kitchen. You’ll need to wait a little longer for my first recipe post but since this is the fourth Monday of the month and one of Sally’s Challenger Choices is Food, here are two tasty food photos.
This isn’t from my kitchen but sometimes the best place to spend a Saturday morning is away from home at the local diner enjoying a huge, cooked to order, breakfast.
Some of you may remember my recent post about multicolored peppers from the Edmonds Farmer’s Market. Here they are a few hours later, sautéed with onion and thinly sliced carrots, almost ready to join the Chile lime chicken in our fajitas.
Looks delicious.! Breakfast is my favorite meal anytime of the day 🙂
Mine too. 🙂
You’ve made me hungry for Belgian waffles, which I have not made for a long time. Nice colorful set of images. Happy Phoneography Monday.
Thanks Sally, the waffles were great!

Hi Mona, I’m happy to hear you like the Edmonds Market too! Chevre would absolutely be wonderful with the peppers but then I can happily eat chevre on just about anything. 🙂 Thanks for visiting and sharing your comments today!
