    Simply beautiful. The curve of the tree is so lovely, and once again the colors are so rich and fertile (can colors be fertile?).

      I think colors can be fertile. 🙂 The curvy trunk is what caught my attention too, it really stood out in a forest full of trees and ferns.

      Thanks Robin. 🙂 By the end of winter I feel like I’ve run out of interesting things to photograph but we really are pretty lucky to live where it’s green and there is always a unique tree out there somewhere!

      Thanks LD, I am curious about the bark too. Usually it isn’t stripped over such a large area even if the tree has been dead for a while.
