iPhoneography Monday: 3-24-14

iPhone Monday 3-24-14

The fourth Monday of every month is Challenger’s Choice over at Lens and Pen by Sally.  This week marks the debut of a new challenge title, Phoneography and Non-SLR Digital Devices Photo Challenge, encouraging all non-traditional photographers using a smart phone, digital  music device like an iPod, tablet or even a scanner to participate.   This is an ever changing photography movement and experimentation is celebrated.

My March Challenger’s Choice is Architecture and today’s image is one of the most recognizable architectural features in the Seattle landscape, The Space Needle.

  1. Your capture gives the tower a feeling that even in its frozen frame is alive with onlookers. Your composition gives it the depth it needs to appreciate its design. Thanks for the write-up about the new title. Happy photo challenge.

  2. Absolutely love the angle of this shot! Did you get a crick in your neck? Or maybe that’s a Southern question. Does anyone up your way call it a crick???

  3. Fantastic phone photo! (ok, so I’m into alliteration this morning 😉 ) Truly it is a really great shot from that perspective… and the composition is perfect.

  4. I don’t think I have ever seen the Needle photographed “looking up” from below. Great perspective. I am a fan of architecture.

    1. I’m glad you like this one, I wanted to share a view that was different from most of the available Space Needle photos. It’s pretty fun to stand at the base and look all the way up.
