After a steep but scenic hike up the Snoqualmie Region’s Ira Spring Trail winding through an evergreen forest, wildflower meadows and granite avalanche zones we enjoyed our mossy descent down to Mason Lake and a picnic lunch.

Summer greens — how fun that we talk about summer greens in The South as collard greens, turnip greens, and kale!!! But I love your mossy greens, too!

  Thanks, Rusha. 🙂 Really, I think of farmer’s markets and fresh vegetables too when I hear “summer greens” but it seemed to fit this post so I went with it. 🙂
