Well done! We have to change this country’s glorification of violence, and break the grip of the NRA on our government. The upcoming generation gives me hope!

Thanks so much, Carrie. I took so many pictures it was hard to narrow them down but all in all the entire day was filled with energy and determination to make a change.

Let’s hope change is on the horizon. I don’t know how much more I can take of the current climate. Sigh.

Same here. It’s all so upsetting and depressing. Or infuriating depending on the hour. Exhausting for sure.

Let’s hope that this resistance effort is a tipping point.

My fingers are crossed, Sally but if not, we’ll just keep on pushing.

You really captured some wonderful photos of a very special, history-making day! I really believe our young people’s pain has awakened something mighty in our country that isn’t going to go back underground. Well done, Lisa. For the photos, and for participating!

Thanks so much for your comments, Debra. After watching all the young people and families who participated around the world and listening to the eloquent teens (and younger kids) who spoke to the crowds I have hope that this moment will continue until we see some real reform.
