Weekly Photo Challenge: The World Through Your Eyes

Mt. Saint Helens

My first few photos from our recent summer trip to Santa Fe are actually of snow-covered Mt. Saint Helens.  This is the view out the airplane window as we broke through the clouds on our way from Seattle, WA to the high desert of northern New Mexico.  For more unique views of the world please see the latest Daily Post:  The World Through Your Eyes.

  1. snow-covered Mt. Saint Helens – great view!
    P.S.:
I’m still amused by the story of one of our blogging community: During the Mt. St. Helens eruption someone thought (walking through the dark): oh my good, it seems, they bomb Seattle!

    1. Thanks! I was going to post it in the original colors but they looked a little flat. Then I remembered a photography tip that suggested images of snow look great in black and white. I decided to try with this one. 🙂
