I was looking for something different to use to describe your picture. Honestly I have never used nor seen this word used. Thanks to your pulchritudinous picture and the mighty Thesaurus, I learned something new today.
This picture made me stop and try to imagine what it must have felt like to stand there. I imagined it to be very still, no breeze, cool not hot, a damp smell… but mostly the stillness would make me want to not disturb anything. I wonder if reality is different? 😛
Very close! It was so still we spoke in whispers even though we didn’t have too. The air was warmish for a mountain but damp and the mist rolled in silently and suddenly. Lisa
Yes, it id at the top of a mountain highway that only opens for about three months a year when they can plow the roads. I hope we can make one more trip next month before the snowfall gets too deep.
