There are so many things that capture my attention in this photo. I definitely feel like you have captured the farmer as the focus for the theme. I love whatever it is that is behind him – it creates a frame around him. I also love the market – the flowers in the foreground, all of the produce, the other secondary people, and even the ceiling. You have such a great eye!

I like the way the flowers and produce are the subjects. Humans are secondary. Nicely done.

Thanks Sally, I like the little touches of color in this photo for exactly that reason. I’m happy you saw it too.

You can almost sense the farmer’s frustration as he waits for a customer.

You’re right, he doesn’t look very happy… It was a busy market day but quiet around his booth, maybe the attitude scared away potential customers.

Thanks for your comments Rob! I took this one in a hurry not wanting to intrude but am happy with how everything lined up in the frame. 🙂

I hate waiting … – luck is: not blocked in waiting…

Very good point, but I hate waiting too…

And you dared to almost completely desaturate a photo of flowers in a market! It works very well!

Thanks! I thought it would be fun to try something new even though the flower displays were so bright and colorful. 🙂
