Weekly Photo Challenge: Horizon

Horizon. The space or line where the sky meets the earth.

Horizon

Here in the Puget Sound we’ve been blanketed by a cold stretch of deep fog and this photo is from the last time I saw the horizon, one week ago today.   Keep your fingers crossed for us, this gloomy weather pattern is forecast to break by Sunday and we may actually see the sun and sky again…

  1. I’ve been looking at the weather over there ( a favourite time waster ), and I’d noticed the ‘fog’ symbol for days in a row, but it hadn’t occurred to me that it stays all day…At home we feel hard done by if fog lasts past 10 am, let alone all day. I have a fantasy of spending a whole year in the PNW, just to see what it’s like. Your photo tells me “Yes! Yes! Yes!”, but the text…not so much!

    1. The fog usually clears out by 10 but for some reason this stretch has stayed in place. 😦 As with pretty much anywhere, there are beautiful things about this area and things that aren’t so great but we wouldn’t have the clean air and green plants without a little fog and rain so it’s all good in my book. 🙂

  2. All rain and gloomy skies in my neck of the woods as the east coast hurricane season winds down with low pressure systems sliding in from the west. Wish us luck too.
