Travel Theme: Work

Work 1

Fresh flowers are scarce during Pacific Northwest winters but the hardworking families at Seattle’s Pike Place Market use creative combinations of fresh and dried flowers to keep their stalls full year round.

Work 2

Christmas Eve in front of the Original Starbucks.  Inside, customers enjoy hot beverages in bright red cups while the street musician wears a red Santa Hat, playing for tips and giving thanks.

Even the dried flowers are beautiful! I’m very jealous of the inexpensive flowers at the market and wish I could buy inexpensive but gorgeous flowers on a regular basis.

The prices are amazing! It’s fun to see so many people walking through the city with bouquets. You can tell where they’ve been. 🙂

Nice, March can be a great time to visit. If you are here over St. Patrick’s day there is a small parade. 🙂

A nice way to arrange flowers for your winter. And that’s the original starbucks cafe? Interesting.

The original Starbucks is a small café and they’ve kept the older look and only serve drinks (no food) instead of remodeling it to match the newer locations. It’s a busy place!
