Thanks Robin. π By the end of winter I feel like I’ve run out of interesting things to photograph but we really are pretty lucky to live where it’s green and there is always a unique tree out there somewhere!
I was enjoying a view of the Olympic Mountains just this morning Melody. π They are so pretty with snow and no clouds covering the peaks – a wonderful sight.
beautiful and makes me want to drive out to the rain forest.

Simply beautiful. The curve of the tree is so lovely, and once again the colors are so rich and fertile (can colors be fertile?).

I think colors can be fertile. π The curvy trunk is what caught my attention too, it really stood out in a forest full of trees and ferns.

Lovely colours. I wonder the the bark became stripped?
LikeLike
Thanks LD, I am curious about the bark too. Usually it isn’t stripped over such a large area even if the tree has been dead for a while.
