We were visiting a small town on the Olympic Peninsula about 20 minutes from the Washington coast. Both fishing and farming are important to their economy and I liked the fact that both are visible in this photo. Thanks for asking the question, Joanne it let me explain the context while still trying to be “wordless” on Wednesday. 🙂

Yes, Joanne asked what we were all wondering about. Judging by the photo, it looks like it’s inland and far away from any water, so the buoys seems out of place.

This part of the state is so pretty, CG you can start your day on a farm, be deep in a rainforest at noon and have a picnic on the coast for dinner. They have it all!
