It’s hard to believe 22 weeks have passed since the start of this project but one look at our well used BBQ tells me loud and clear that summer is over.  Maybe if we wait a little longer the fall rain will clean it for us…

If you have a photo or story to share about your 9:00 am hour I’d love to see it!   Please tag your post 1 Day 1 World Project for easy reader searches and/or link your post in a comment below so we can all enjoy the view. Together we’ll build a virtual 24 hour day filled with images from around the world.

If you’re new to the 1 Day 1 World Project please take a look at my introductory post here.  This 9:00 am post will remain open for submissions until the end of Saturday, October 4th and a new post for the 10:00 am hour will open for entries Sunday, October 5th.

Your BBQ has a great colour and it is an interesting contrast to the greens and browns in the picture. Here in Germany we are preparing for autumn, too.

I hope the joys it has given the family is not over yet. You can still bbq in the Fall, can’t you?

Yes, Bebs we actually BBQ year round but it’s always a nicer experience in the summer. 🙂 John has a stash of hats and headlamps for the dark/wet evenings…

Great image, Lisa. Your barbeque might be well used, but it looks really great in the photo. 🙂

Thanks, Sylvia. 🙂 A little bit of cleaning and it should be ready to go for another few years. 🙂

Hoping you get lots more BBQ weather before winter sets in.

We’ll still be outside grilling in the snow, Nancy but it’s not as comfortable as a warm summer afternoon. 🙂

You’re a heartier bunch than we are. Fair weather grillers only in my house. 🙂

I’m hoping this fall weather sticks around for a very long time!! It was gorgeous running this morning with yellow leaves raining on my head 🙂

… btw, your BBQ looks REALLY clean compared to ours. Now I feel like I should be embarrassed by ours 🙂

Ours got a good rinse during the past three days of rain, Joanne. 🙂 Now we are in the kind of of cool mornings and sunny afternoons that give fall a good reputation. I’m not much of a runner but Ryan and I took a beautiful walk yesterday. 🙂

we used to have a blue grill quite similar to this one – and I love your shot of it. The tipped over bucket adds to the mood – and I agree with the other reader – cos your grill actually looks pretty clean already – especially with the upside down bucket – like it was cleaned and tipped over to dry. 🙂

Nice interpretation, Yvette. 🙂 Actually the bucket was full of ice and cold drinks last weekend and I tipped it over on the grill to dry out a few days ago. The rain didn’t help. 😉 Thanks for your nice comments!

de nada – and I also think it was such a nice choice for this early morning hour – oh – and the blue grill we used to have like this one was an electric one – and we used it in the winter too. 🙂

Finally hour 22 has arrived! I have been saving pictures from a wonderful walk that Maggie and I took along Crown Beach in Alameda. It was a gorgeous day with views of S.F. on the horizon.

Nothing sadder than an unused BBC. You know, it is possible to BBQ year round. 🙂

What a pretty place to walk! And yes, we use our BBQ year round too, it’s just a little uncomfortable in the snow. 🙂

Very fancy BBQ. Ours is no where as nice; winter over the years has taken its toll on it (last year the snow covered the whole thing!).

I have a quick little post up for 9:00-10:00 am, the link is here: http://htheblog.wordpress.com/2014/09/29/1-day-1-world-project-900-am-1000-am-the-sleepy-head/

That’s a cheerful BBQ! Is it a gas one? My daughter and partner used to have great South African style braais every summer with all their S African friends who were living in and around London – it almost felt as though I’d been over to SA for a quick visit! Doesn’t happen so much now though.
My post would provide the perfect additions to your BBQ 😉

Big friend and family BBQ’s are so much fun! Ours is a charcoal grill with gas assist for lighting so it’s ready a little quicker than traditional charcoal but cooks the same. You’re right, your post has some wonderful treats to add to a cookout. 🙂

I’m back, in the nick of time. (I hope!) I had my photos for last week but left them too late. I was taking photos for the Autumn leaves challenge on my way to zumba yesterday morning when I realised I was in the right time ‘frame’. 🙂 I had my 6WS to post so have squeezed it in this morning. Hope that’s ok with you?
