Love the angling on this one. It makes the gymnasium looks like a very grand place. Really like the blue sky in this one. Very regal. Hope you week’s going well, Lisa 🙂
Thanks so much, Mabel. 🙂 I was happy I could capture some of the pretty blue sky on one of our last warm days of the year. The building is one of my favorites and was originally built as the high school in town. Now it is a performing arts center but local sports clubs still rent the gymnasium for practice and games. I’m having a great week so far and hope yours has been good to you as well. 🙂
That is good to hear the place is still used today. It doesn’t look that old at all, just a bit worn – it probably gets its youthful face from all the energetic students going in and out of it 🙂 Enjoy the sunshine while it lasts. This week’s been a busy one for me, but good 🙂
what an artsy building you give us here- and I read the other comment about the blue sky before winter comes – and I love the angle that gives us the sky 🙂

Timeless Art Moderne … I like how the little clouds are reflected in the window, as if the building has no roof.

Thanks, D’Arcy… the clouds in the window are what captured my attention too when I walked over to the building. 🙂

Oh yeah, I could benefit from some actual gym time… it’s too bad just taking photos of the outside doesn’t count. 🙂

At least you’re in the general vicinity.

Good point. And I walked there from Starbucks so at least I got a few steps in my daily count. 🙂

Thanks, Yvette. 🙂 I’m glad you like the angle, I wanted to capture the blue sky and this is really how I see most buildings… looking up and up. 🙂
