It’s great to hear you like it, Joanne! The wind was freezing my fingers but I didn’t want to move until after the birds flew away. 🙂

I love how everything goes to a single point off to the right – the clouds, the horizon line, and the coastline. The colors are beautiful. The movement of the water and the birds in flight just above is crazy! Really great photo 🙂

The light is glorious, but that wet sand looks so cold. The birds taking off is magical though. I also like that little bit of light catching the stone/driftwood in the foreground.

Thanks so much, Tish. You’re right about the cold, I wanted to watch the birds longer but was a little relieved they flew away when they did because my fingers were almost too cold to work my phone for the picture. 🙂 The late afternoon light was too nice to miss though.

It was a wonderful moment, Angeline. The beach was so quiet we could hear the feathers rustling as they flew away!

Our geese cannot reach the shore for the ice mountains there. This is a nice soft focus winter shot.

Ice mountains might be pretty but I’ll keep our gentle waves. 🙂 Thanks for your visit and comments today.
