I’m pretty sure this “fresh” sign is meant to advertise freshly caught fish at Seattle’s Pike Place Market but each time I walk up this ramp I read the two signs together and think “fresh restrooms” below…

Lol….I never noticed that before.! Too funny 😀

When we go to Seattle to the VA Hospital we always take time to go to Pike. Love it there.

Your photo captures lots of what I love about the market building: colorful neon, pattern of tiles and railings, and the details of the columns. A special place–even though the restrooms aren’t always fresh!

So funny. But fresh restrooms are pretty welcome . . . anytime!!!

I always feel terribly sorry for women lined up to use the restroom in the Market, it’s the worst insult to injury I can imagine. However, one could argue it’s possibly balanced out by the fact the men’s restroom must be exponentially more revolting.

I see what you mean! But at least the restrooms are fresh!!!

Perfect for the challenge. I was just there with Bea a few days ago. We always get down there at least once when one of the kids is home.

Thanks, Naomi. 🙂 Ryan loves wandering through the stalls in all kinds of weather so we find ourselves there a lot in the winter. Summer is just too crowded for me unless we get a very early start…

I do favor the off season and week days, and since we are here year round, that’s not hard to do.
