Weekly Photo Challenge: Weight(less) Kites

You will find truth more quickly through delight than gravity.  Let out a little more string on your kite.

This week Ben asks us to share a photo of something marked by its weight – or it’s weightlessness.  Ryan carried his new kite through a full day of hiking and beach combing on Whidbey Island waiting for the perfect amount of wind and if you look closely at the bluff in the background you can just make out the winding trail that led us to the viewpoint in my last post about an invincible summer.

    1. San Juan’s South Beach is one of my all time favorite beaches too! These photos are from the west side of Whidbey Island but the feel of the beach and views are very similar to San Juan. Thanks for your visit today. 🙂

      1. Your welcome. If I could just figure out how to “follow” a blog, I would with yours. Still new with all this.
It has been such a joy living in the Northwest. 42 years now and the last 10, also part time in the mountains outside Spokane. But always, the San Juan’s. We get to do extended “house and pet sitting” for my sister a couple of times a year so we claim part time residence in Friday Harbor also. How lucky are we!

      2. Lucky indeed! We made plans yesterday for a summer trip to Lopez Island… can’t wait. 🙂 If you click any post title from my home page there will be a “follow me” button on the right side of the new post page. Also, as you open each post WordPress includes a small notification in the bottom right corner that contains a click to follow button. Hope this helps. 🙂
