My Year In Pictures: March Week 4

If you’ve been following my daily photos on Instagram you might have noticed I’m falling a little behind in my weekly recap schedule here on the blog.  In fact, I’m planning to write the next recap tomorrow so cross your fingers we’ll be caught up by the middle of next week. 🙂

Now that I can see this set of 7 images together in a grid it looks like my eye was once again drawn to some similar colors and themes.  I don’t know if this was a reflection of my mood, preferences or just a product of the season but I’m seeing a lot of soft yellow and natural tones, wood grains, blue skies with clouds and some spring greens represented here.

I found a spare hour Sunday afternoon to work on some packaging ideas for our new soy candles, and Monday morning found Ryan and I back at the Orthopedic Specialist office only to be directed to a third clinic for further evaluation.  The good news about this late recap is that I can share a little more news and tell everyone that his new Doctors are fantastic and I feel like he is really in great hands.  Tuesday’s puffy clouds and blue sky were just plain pretty and by Wednesday evening it was all I could do to snap one fast photo before closing the curtains and falling asleep.

Thursday morning is something I usually shoot around when sharing my morning dog walk photos but today I decided to turn the camera away from the trees and show what was behind my back.  Friday night was for packing orders and this fun set of Cocktail napkins is now on its way to a home in Colorado.  We have three more sets of four available in the Etsy store, each one featuring a unique combination of plaids and/or stripes in red, green and natural linen tones.  Saturday closed the week with an afternoon walk past this fun Easter tree.

Coming soon I’ve got a great set of new photos almost ready to share here from our latest spring adventures and if you’d like to follow along in real-time don’t forget I post my daily photos on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. If a once-a-week blog read is more your speed my weekly recaps will continue here along with caption notes containing editing information for each photo.

Very good to hear that Ryan is being taken care of. Best wishes to him once again. Also very nice to hear that those napkins are going to a good home, packaged and sent off with lots of love.

Lemon verbena is a favorite that I plant for summer and autumn yield. I make tea from it. It’s fabulous.

Sounds wonderful, Sally. The candle is one of my favorites but now you’ve got me thinking about tea. 🙂

Thanks, Nancy! Of course I have new ideas now that I want to use but we’ll work through these first once I finally have them listed. 🙂

Life does sound hectic, but fun too. I’m glad you’ve got better treatment sorted out for Ryan. That must have been so depressing. Onwards and upwards! Have a good weekend, Lisa 🙂
