photo 2

Sally of the beautiful Lens and Pen by Sally is continuing her April theme of Mother Earth for this week’s iPhone photo challenge .

I am just starting to experiment with the camera on my iPhone and hope to try a new technique or approach every Monday. I know some images will be more successful than others but the process is going to be fun and I’m really looking forward to it!

If you would like to participate in iPhoneography Monday Sally has posted her schedule below:

1st Monday: Nature

2nd Monday: Macro

3rd Monday: Black-and-White

4th and 5th Mondays: Challenger’s Choice (Pick One: Abstraction, Architecture, Food Photography, Night Photography, Portraiture, Still Life, Street Photography, and Travel).

    1. I have an iPhone 5 and am learning something new every day. I took this picture with the regular camera and then adjusted it using Snapseed and DeluxeFX. Snapseed is usually my first editing app and I tried DeluxeFX for the first time today. My something new for Monday. 🙂

      1. Do you edit them on the phone with these apps? (Forgive my ignorance. I know little when it comes to photography other than that I like the nice pictures. 🙂 )

      2. I do a little bit of both… I have Snapseed on my phone and computer and usually like to edit on the computer. I’m more comfortable with the big screen. Deluxe FX is only on my phone and I am trying to get used to editing directly on the phone. I’m glad you like my efforts so far!

      3. I do, and thanks for the info. I find it amazing the things we can do with our phones. In fact, using my phone as a phone is probably the one thing I DON’T do often. 🙂
