A 6:00 am flight time is challenging under the best of circumstances since it means my alarm is set for 3:00. Last week John, Ryan and I bravely faced a cold, dark morning with very little sleep and big cups of coffee for our flight to sunny southern California and Disneyland. Our first reward was this beautiful sunrise from the plane window.

What a great choice for the challenge! If I attempted that, all I would capture is a smudged palm print on the plane’s window. 🙂

Very cool picture. I love how the colors go from deep red to near black. Sunrises and sunsets always amaze me with their beauty with no two being the same.

The colors in nature never fail to amaze me. I see many more sunsets than sunrises so this one was really special.
