What a beautiful shot, so full of aged textures as though it has been there forever, becoming part of the landscape.
Like you I get drawn to photograph fences….and walls. I think I’m fascinated by the feeling of the edge of something 🙂

And of course edges are where things change…..from one space to another…..and so there is excitement about something new coming into view 🙂

Contrast and tone work well in monochrome.
