We found this old wagon wheel just down the beach from the driftwood pirate ship I posted yesterday. The owners of the property have a knack for collecting and re-purposing old items and interesting pieces of wood but I think this wheel is at the end of its road…

Too cool! Wagon wheels make me think of my mom. She always wanted one for garden art … but she never got one.

John wants a set of wagon wheels now too and I wish they were for the garden but he has something dramatic planned for Halloween…

What fun! I like the moody atmosphere the light gives it. And you are right… it’s definitely at the end of the road. 🙂 I’m featuring an old wheel too, but I’m waiting for Monday and the letter R!

I always find it interesting that the more decaying something is, the more photo graphic it is.
This is a great shot.

Thanks Amy, this wheel has so many great angles I find myself taking a photo every time we visit but this is my favorite view. 🙂

I really love this – for the theme – but also for the slice of history it gives us. It whispers of years past and the spokes in the back add tot he mood – and so does the stuff in the background. great shot!!! 🙂

well I like how the spokes come above the top of the circle in this angle – they add to the hint of vertical objects in the background. 🙂

This wheel looks like it’s more suitable for HDR than what it is for actual wheeling. 😀

Great photo, Lisa. I don’t think that wheel is going anywhere, but it sure is decorative. 🙂
