iPhone Monday 4-28-14

Sally is enjoying her last week of vacation but since I enjoyΒ posting an iPhone photo every Monday I thought I would keep up with her schedule and choose Architecture for my week 4 Challenger’s Choice selection.

Every time I walk by Bud’s Bait House on the Edmonds waterfront I think I should take a picture but I’m usually with Ryan and John and they don’t want to stop. Β Last week I finally had a chance to go on my own and here is the result. πŸ™‚

If you missed my post yesterday introducing the new 1 Day 1 World project I have a link here. Β This will be a 24 week process documenting daily life around the world in one hour increments butΒ instead of the marathon sprint of one photo each hour for one continuous day I’ve decided to feature oneΒ hour of the day eachΒ week to beginning with 12:00 pm. Β My first post will go live Sunday, May 3rd and if you’d like to participate with your own posts or just read along please join us!

I like the old-style or antique feel of the photo. It suits a shot of a bait house.

Thanks LD, this was my first day trying a new Hipstamatic lens and filter named after some Seattle locations. I’m glad you like them for this marina scene πŸ™‚

I love your shot of the bait house- and the water – and the break wall in the back make me wish I was there- breathing in the air and soaking up the view! nice take for a Monday iPhone day!! πŸ™‚

also, I will try and tune in on May 3rd – sounds cool.

I’m glad you like this one! When I realized I could walk here without my two distractions one of the first things I set out to do was get a good photo of the bait house. πŸ˜‰ Looking forward to May 3rd!

Bud’s is the perfect name for a bait shop…being a fisherman. BTW…I watch the add on your site today and it fits in well with Nancy’s customs story. Best part is using his belt buckle as a bottle opener.

Thanks for the comment and link, Patrick. Nancy’s customs story was so good this morning, but after leaving some comments I’m a little afraid of what kind of ads are going to run in the future. πŸ˜‰

Oh, I know the feeling Lisa. Sometimes when hubby, Simba and I drive around I see something I want to take a photo of but then it’s usually too late to ask him to stop. I am glad you finally got this beautiful shot. What a lovely view! πŸ˜€
