This week, let’s take the humble grid out of the shadows, and make it the star.

I’m always amazed by how much weight can be supported by such delicate grid work. Watching these viewing cars float in circles above the Seattle Waterfront was almost as much fun as our ride on a sunny summer day.

What a wonderful photo, thank you for the soaring sky, while I can enjoy staying safely on the ground! Love the Wheel, but I am not going up there!

I’m happy I could share the view! The ride is actually very stable and calm if you ever decide to give it a try. 🙂

In my next lifetime???? ha, ha. Meanwhile I am an admirer of All Things Seattle! I love the lights on the Wheel, too, the designer is a genius.

I’m glad you like the new theme, Andra it was time for a shake up around here and so far I’m happy with this one. The Wheel ride was fun and our fish and chips lunch on the pier after was even better. 🙂

These are well-taken shots. I’ve always liked Ferris Wheels, but I may think twice about the next one given the angle of these photographs and your comment about the delicate grid work.

Lisa, this is a great take on the theme! Although, you will never find me aboard! It was enough just to get me up to the top of the Space Needle 😉

If you made it up the Space Needle you’d be just fine on the wheel, Jane. 🙂 Glad you liked my take on the challenge as I changed my mind several times before finally selecting this photo.
