Capturing clean macro photos is always a challenge for me but I love Sally’s weekly Phoneography posts so here is my latest attempt. These fern fronds were part of the path through a park we visited Saturday afternoon and I liked the woodsy shades of brown on the forest floor while we were surrounded by so many kinds of evergreen branches above.

Really a heartfelt image that depicts the fragility and strength of nature. The fronds are beautiful in their various shades of browns–their own tribute to the season. Happy Phoneography Monday.

Thank you Sally, I definitely need to spend more time looking down instead of up. The view is just as inspiring!
