Yesterday I sat down in our wet backyard grass and decided I wouldn’t go back inside until I found something interesting to photograph for today’s macro challenge. I’m happy I took a few minutes to look at things from a different angle because I had completely missed how pretty this little mushroom was until I saw it from the ground up.

Hmm, I just noticed your last couple posts didn’t show up in my reader. I’m going to unfollow you and then follow you again to see if that helps. Great shot of the ‘shroom, but I have to admit, they gross me out a bit. 😉

I hope that helps, I’ve done the same thing with a few bloggers that don’t always show up in my reader. It fixes the problem for me. I’m ok taking pictures of mushrooms as long as I don’t have to touch them. 🙂

such a rich texture! gorgeous toadstool! or is it an edible mushroom?

It’s a mushroom we found in our backyard and even though I was afraid to eat it I don’t think it hurt the animals who munched their way through it the next day. 🙂
