For nature week at Lens and Pen by Sally I have a close up shot of the Hens and Chicks on our front porch. I love how these plants thrive with little to no attention and this one has been happily residing its tiny pot for years.

Aren’t they delightful? I used to have a pot, but lost that one to heavy snow one year when I wasn’t there to sweep it away, that was sad as I’d had them for years, then I tried another pot a couple of years ago, but they died because it was too wet last winter!
