How glorious -I am so envious right now! I’ve actually ordered some peony plants, a variety that is supposed to be ‘easy’, so maybe next year…or the year after…I’ll have flowers. Hope so!:)
Wow! Lisa, you got the colors perfectly and I KNOW what a tough time I have been having to get the colors exactly especially my deep wine ones. Great shot, one that really made my day! Thank you so much for taking the time to post this. (((HUGS))) Amy ❤

For me, I would still put lilacs first … then peonies 🙂

We don’t have to choose here, Joanne… Our lilacs bloom in April and Peonies in June. 🙂

Nice! I want to add a few plants to our yard too. We have one peony that had a single bloom this year and I need more than that for a bouquet. 🙂

I’ve been trying for a few years…I think I need to feed them more. A lot more…fingers crossed!

What lovely colors. We have one bush — pale pink. Like these better for their strength of color.

I like the pale pink ones as cut flowers but prefer bright ones in the garden, Rusha. I think I need to plant a few more for next spring. 🙂
