Beautifully done, Lisa. It looks like a pink piece of tissue, so delicate. Almost looks like a painting too. You really know how to use those apps on your phone 🙂 ❤

Thanks, Mabel. I’m always surprised by how long these peony blooms last when they are so delicate and thin. This was my first try with the newly updated Snapseed app – glad you like the results!

Very beautiful. It looks like it was made out of coloured tissue paper.

Thanks, Allan. Peonies at the end of their bloom always remind me of tissue too.

Love the soft pink Macro, LIsa! Look much like a water colored painting. 🙂

Thanks, Amy! This soft bunch was what I chose to buy after taking the “vivid” photo last week. 🙂

That’s beautiful Lisa. From your yard?

I wish they were from our yard but our only plant just produced one bloom this year. I might plant a few more varieties though and hope for a bouquet next spring. 🙂

I thought it was a poppy, Lisa, but did I read ‘peony’ somewhere? No matter- it’s a glorious shot. 🙂

It’s a peony but the petals are open like a poppy, Jo so I understood. 🙂 Now if only I could get my poppies to grow like this… not enough sun in our yard. 😦

We don’t have either in our garden 😦 We did have some vibrant golden poppies but they didn’t last.

Silly me! I know this one, and it’s still very lovely. 🙂 I received some spurs of deepest pink gladioli in my anniversary bouquet last week and they were absolutely stunning. 🙂
