Black and White week at Lens and Pen by Sally’s Phoneography and Non-SLR Digital Devices Photo Challenge is a great opportunity to share this companion piece to the Chinese Zodiac photo I posted a few days ago. Like the Zodiac this large brass inlay tile is set into a sidewalk in Seattle’s International District so if you have the opportunity to visit this part of the city be sure to look down!

The rendering in monochrome gives the design the attention it needs. Happy Photo Challenge.
